This is the hardest thing for most people. Starting. Not quitting.
Start.
Even if you don’t have any idea of what you want, it’s much better than sitting around analyzing your options.
There is a saying in baseball along the lines of “Analysis causes paralysis.”
If you over think the situation, then you may miss out on the opportunity that would have come up after you took the leap.
I’m not saying that you shouldn’t think about any of the decisions that you make, but don’t take a long time to decide. You may miss out on something great while you are trying to decide what to do.
Don’t let the fear of starting stop you from going. I like to think that quitting is easy. Starting is an entirely different ballgame.
I’ll leave with this.
It’s a quote from my mentor by way of his father. (He will correct me if I get this wrong.)
“Will-power is victory of the strongest desire.”
Even if you don’t quite know where you are going you have to start somewhere. It’s a part of the journey & the fun. You desire something. The greatest at…
Will-power so that you keep moving when it gets rough. Will-power so you can discover what it is you really want.
Remember, you have to start somewhere.
Far From Idle
Come. Find out why.
